Niagara Walking Society Presents....

Slabtown Saunter
In the shadow of the hegemonic Pen Centre is an area once known as Centreville, then Slabtown, then Merritton, and now, St. Catharines.

We will saunter along the area formerly known as Slabtown with our cameras, attending to the the overlooked, the residual, the half-noticed - what Georges Perec called "the endotic", not the exotic, but the substrata of the everyday, the overlooked, the mundane, habitual aspects of daily life.
